Super exciting! And a great reminder to stay open-minded and flexible about our creative processes. Thank you.

I love this! It's a useful reminder for writing, but it mostly reminds me of a technique my piano teacher had me use when memorizing a piece: working through it backward, line by line. Hearing each piece separately without the expectation of what comes next gives it a freshness. And by draft six, freshness may be exactly what's needed.

I always write in the morning due to my work schedule. This week I started writing after work from midnight to 1 am, holy heck! It felt so weird. I know that feeling!

This is such a clever way to revise!! It makes so much sense to me that the beginning would be easier to tackle with the back portion of the novel fresh in your mind. I love that you found a technique that made revising again more tolerable. LMK when you start querying so I can cheer you on!

I love this trick! I find jumping around in the book when revising tricks me back into a flow, too. Thx for sharing! I’m almost ready to query too. Scary! Exciting!

Oh I can feel your excitement through your words! It just fueled my desire even more to keep pushing with my writing! I know what you mean with the rigidity that we creatives often put ourselves in. I’ve learned to try to answer the call to write, and everything flows so well.
